The Ayurvedic Perspective on Indigestion: Understanding 'Agni'

The Concept of Agni

Ajirna (Indigestion) in Ayurveda

Causes of Mandagni (Agni

  • Viruddha Ahara: Incompatible foods
  • Vishamashana: गलत समय पर खाना (Eating at irregular times)।

E-E-A-T Section

  • Expertise: Explains fundamental Ayurvedic pathophysiology regarding digestion and metabolism.
  • Authoritativeness: Concepts are derived from classical Ayurvedic texts like the Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita.
  • Trustworthiness: While Ayurveda offers excellent preventive and lifestyle guidelines for gut health, acute or severe gastrointestinal symptoms should also be evaluated through modern medical diagnostics to rule out serious pathology.
